Jessica supported co-teaching and delivery of curriculum as Teaching Assistant. The “Community as a Living Lab” course emphasized community-engaged and participatory research methods through hands-on project delivery for community partners. Jessica’s multiple roles involved coaching students, liaisoning with guest speakers and community partners throughout Halifax, and managing the delivery of in-person and digital seminars. Jessica ensured following ethical protocols in data management, including guidance from OCAP© TM principles for working with Indigenous and sacred knowledges.
